We are a multicultural, non-denominational church, joyfully proclaiming that God’s Kingdom embraces every tribe, tongue, and nation. Our heart is to build a welcoming community where all are received in love. Then, as they walk alongside us, they will encounter Jesus and be transformed into His likeness.

PASTORS

Johnsy John (Ph. D, MACL, BD, MCS, BCom), Sherin Johnsy (MSc, BEd) & Abigail Johnsy

Dr. Johnsy John is the Lead Pastor of Fremont Grace Church. He was born into a strong Christian family in Kerala, India, on April 9, 1979. At the age of fourteen, he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and publicly declared his faith through water baptism in 1995. In 2008, he married Sherin, and in 2011, God blessed them with their daughter, Abigail.

Just three months after his birth, his father moved the family back to Bhutan, where he served in the Government’s Electrical Department. Johnsy’s early education began there, and later, at age six, he was admitted to a Christian missionary boarding school at Dohnavur Fellowship in Tamil Nadu, South India. It was during a revival meeting at that school that he surrendered his life to Jesus. After completing his schooling, he moved to Mumbai to live with his parents and to pursue higher studies, earning a bachelor’s in commerce and a master’s in computer science. Toward the end of college, he sensed God’s call to full-time ministry. He first served in Mumbai under a missionary from Papua New Guinea, then pursued theological training at New Theological College, Dehradun, earning a Bachelor of Divinity. During his studies, he was involved in mission work in Himachal Pradesh. After this, he joined the ICPF youth ministry in Mumbai. Later, he completed an advanced counselling program. Soon, encouraged by his father, pursued a Ph.D. in Christian Leadership. All these years, he has been involved in the mission and has never looked back or regretted it. A person who did not want to study but wanted to have fun in life went on to study, have fun, and have adventures

God never let the devil have the last say about his existence on this planet. He should have been charred to death by an 11,000-volt electric cable, drowned in the river, killed by the wrong medication, lost my right leg, crushed under the rear wheels of a bus, crushed by a concrete slab, and he can continue talking of many incidents that could have ended his life long ago. But he proudly and confidently says God always has the last say.

After marriage, Johnsy and Sherin moved to Bangalore, India, where they pastored a small church, City Revival Centre, and led a young adult fellowship. He also served as a Master Trainer with Character Solution International. When God’s purpose for them in Bangalore was complete, He led them back to Mumbai, where He birthed the vision of Lead Nations. Through this movement, they conducted youth revivals, camps, and leadership training for pastors and lay leaders in India, Nepal, Bhutan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.

There comes a time in life when people realize that God is leading them somewhere, but they do not know where. He begins to close certain doors or block specific paths to redirect them. Pastor Johnsy and his family were waiting on the Lord to understand His next step and plan for their lives. They knew God wanted them to step out of their comfort zone. Life in Mumbai, India, was very comfortable. After multiple divine encounters that Pastor Johnsy initially did not recognize, he and his family moved to the United States. They did not want to leave India for good, nor did they consider the US a mission station. They were happy living with their parents in Mumbai, surrounded by close relatives and friends, and the best part was their mission fields. Being in India, it was easy to travel to all their mission stations, both within and outside the country.

Soon, they realized that God was sending them to the US as missionaries. But they had no idea what was in store for them. Pastor Johnsy discerned that getting admission into a seminary was the best first step. So, he applied and was admitted to Dallas Theological Seminary, Texas. He moved with his family to DTS in August 2023. The family believed God had brought them to the US to further the mission He had entrusted to them. Leaving their home, their father’s household, and their country and moving to the US was a massive step of faith. With 26 years of full-time mission experience, Pastor Johnsy knew the One who called him is faithful. He often says, “If it’s a God-given vision, then there is a God-given provision.” Like many international students, they did not take shortcuts to make money. But he paid all his fees, rent, and all other expenses, because he knew God would provide. Even before he graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary, Fremont Grace Church in Northern California approached him to serve as its Lead Pastor.  The family moved to California in July 2025. God has divinely orchestrated every step of their journey. If someone is reading this story, they should get in touch with him because he has amazing mission stories that will inspire them. These are not stories of a man with just financial struggles, but real-life incidents filled with adventure and challenge.

Pastor Johnsy's heart beats for raising healthy, godly leaders. He believes the greatest need in the church today is not more preachers, prophets, or musicians—it is leaders of godly character. His vision is to see men and women who live by the Word of God, led by the Holy Spirit, and who transform their families, communities, and nations through servant leadership. Pastor Johnsy leads with the conviction that:

•             A healthy leader builds a healthy family.

•             A healthy family builds a healthy community.

•             A healthy community builds a healthy nation.

Most Christians would not like to stay in California. Pastor Johnsy had never even dreamed of California. That’s when he realized that this state is a mission field. The Bay Area of Northern California needs Jesus. Fremont Grace Church, under the leadership of Pastor Johnsy and family, is committed to the transformation that comes only through JESUS.

Pastor George Alexander & Sally George

Pastor George Alexander is the founding pastor of Fremont Grace Church. Through his ability to lead others to Christ and teach the truth of God's Word with clarity and conviction, his pastoral leadership is noted as a blessing to those who have had the privilege to receive ministry from him.

George Alexander was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as his Savior during his senior year of high school. He took leadership roles in various ministries in Kerala, India; Doha, Qatar; and Dubai, UAE. While in Doha, he suffered persecution for practicing Christianity and was thrown in jail for his faith. In August 1996, God called him into ministry while he was working as a Chief Accountant in Dubai, UAE.  In obedience to his divine call and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he moved to California, USA in 2002 to study God’s word.  In 2008, he finished his Master’s in Bible & Theology from the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University in California, USA. During his Seminary years, he was a part-time staff member of the Foursquare Full Gospel Church in Anaheim, CA, USA.

In December 2008, George Alexander was led by the Holy Spirit to accept a full-time position as the pastor of Hebron Christian Church in San Jose, CA. He ministered faithfully in this position until June 2012, when he received a clear calling from the Lord to diversify his ministry. He received a clear vision, in which God spoke to him and told him that he would catch “fish of many colors.” In July 2012, God clearly directed Pastor George Alexander to start a diverse church in the city of Fremont, California. The church that God directed him to start was a multicultural church focused on bringing people of all different backgrounds to the saving grace of Christ.  In 2014, God opened the doors to starting a sister church in Sacramento, CA with the same multicultural vision, and thus Sacramento Grace Church was born. God faithfully brought many people to both churches, and the congregations are growing steadily by His plan and design.

George Alexander has been married to his faithful wife, Sally, since 1990.  God blessed them with four children, Steven and his wife- Christal, Aquilas, Priscilla, & Persi.  His family has an active part in his ministry, sharing his passion for the Kingdom of God.

In the month of July 2025, Pastor Geroge stepped down from leadership role as the lead pastor of the church. They have been tolling in the Lord's vineyard for the past many years. Pastor George and his beloved wife Sally needed time to rest and renew their strength. They realized it was time to pass the baton to another person. At the same time, they are very much part pf Fremont Grace Church. At present they travel and minister in places that the Lord is sending them. They are also taking time to be with their four children and their families.
